Hi Armando, My husband told me it was four anchors, but I think it was only two. I’m glad you brought up the weather factor, because I tend to experience more discomfort in the affected hip joint when it’s raining or about to rain. I’m going to check into that. You were also right about the slow speed of progress. Some days I think I’m doing great, and others I feel as though I’ve had a setback. Stay well … and in touch.

Pretty amazing right? They pull your leg out about 1/4″ and can do all that stuff in there. Your photos look pretty similar to mine. Looks like you had 2 anchors? Over the past 2 days I was feeling pretty lousy, I had pain around the incision area, slightly down the groin, and then today I noticed we have rain. I never asked Coleman if the weather will be a factor in the return of some discomfort even though the tear was fixed, and in our cases, we have no arthritis. If you see him again, maybe you can ask him that. I was freaking out abit as I started thinking this turned for the worse, but my logic that I had no arthritis and perfect cartilage tells me it’s the weather change. Hope your recovery continues well…keep in touch!

I find Catching a Third Wind to be extremely informative and hopeful. I’m glad the surgery went well and I hope that the healing process continues. I’ve never seen a more detailed and personal account of the healing process from a sports injury. Thank you for your story.
